Tamil Nadu CM Vijay Releases ₹15 Crore Subsidy For 224 Films

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, through actor-politician Joseph Vijay, has released approximately ₹16 crore in subsidies for 224 Tamil films produced between 2015 and 2022. Producer T. Siva announced the long-awaited grant, calling it a "Diwali gift" for producers and their families. Each of the 224 producers received ₹7 lakh, a move aimed at encouraging low-cost films and those addressing societal issues. This initiative is expected to revive livelihoods for many in the film industry.

तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री एम.के. स्टालिन ने अभिनेता-राजनेता जोसेफ विजय के माध्यम से, 2015 और 2022 के बीच निर्मित 224 तमिल फिल्मों के लिए लगभग ₹16 करोड़ की सब्सिडी जारी की है। निर्माता टी. शिव ने इस बहुप्रतीक्षित अनुदान की घोषणा करते हुए इसे निर्माताओं और उनके परिवारों के लिए 'दिवाली उपहार' कहा। 224 निर्माताओं में से प्रत्येक को ₹7 लाख मिले, यह कदम कम लागत वाली फिल्मों और सामाजिक मुद्दों को संबोधित करने वाली फिल्मों को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से उठाया गया है। इस पहल से फिल्म उद्योग में कई लोगों की आजीविका को पुनर्जीवित करने की उम्मीद है।
