A leopard has been confirmed in Mattathur, Kerala, after killing a pet dog on September 15. Forest officials captured the animal on a camera trap near the incident site. While the leopard has not been sighted in subsequent days, raising suspicions it may have moved on, residents have been advised to exercise caution.
