The Delhi High Court has granted the city police until Tuesday, October 13, to respond to a plea filed by the Indian Youth Congress (IYC). The IYC is seeking permission to protest at Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. They allege irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls and demand Kumar's resignation. The IYC had approached the court challenging the Delhi Police's denial of permission for their protest, which was communicated on October 1.
