Indian Coast Guard Seizes 526 Kg Drugs Worth ₹3,000 Crore From Iranian Ship

The Indian Coast Guard, in a joint operation with Gujarat ATS and central intelligence agencies, has seized approximately 526 kg of heroin and methamphetamine from a suspicious Iranian vessel in the Arabian Sea. The international market value of the seized drugs is estimated to be over ₹3,000 crore. Five Pakistani nationals were apprehended during the operation. The vessel, its crew, and the contraband have been brought to Mumbai for further investigation by multiple agencies.
