Pakistan Defines Mecca Pact as Defensive Alliance

Pakistan's military has clarified that the new Mecca Defence Alliance with Saudi Arabia and Turkey is for collective deterrence, not aggression. Director General ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated the pact is defensive and complementary to existing alliances, with no regional aspirations.
