Bengal Jute Mill Workers To Get Houses

The West Bengal government is launching pilot projects in North 24 Parganas and Hooghly districts to provide affordable housing for jute mill workers under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Urban 2.0 scheme. Approximately 8,000 interested workers will be eligible after their applications are verified. This initiative aims to ensure dignity, security, and a better quality of life for these workers and their families. Eligible beneficiaries must have an annual household income up to Rs 3 lakh and not own a pucca house.

बंगाल जूट मिल मजदूरों को मिलेंगे घर

पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना - शहरी 2.0 के तहत जूट मिल मजदूरों के लिए किफायती आवास प्रदान करने के लिए उत्तर 24 परगना और हुगली जिलों में पायलट प्रोजेक्ट शुरू कर रही है। लगभग 8,000 इच्छुक मजदूर आवेदन सत्यापन के बाद पात्र होंगे। इस पहल का उद्देश्य इन मजदूरों और उनके परिवारों के लिए गरिमा, सुरक्षा और बेहतर जीवन स्तर सुनिश्चित करना है। पात्र लाभार्थियों की वार्षिक पारिवारिक आय 3 लाख रुपये तक होनी चाहिए और उनके पास पक्का घर नहीं होना चाहिए।
