AIIMS Madurai Student's Bias Claims Ruled Out By Police; Counselling Recommended

Police have concluded their inquiry into allegations of discrimination made by a disabled MBBS student at AIIMS Madurai, finding no evidence to support his claims. The student, Arvind Kumar, had posted a video alleging bias due to his disability, which led to an institutional assessment of his well-being. He had reportedly failed multiple subjects and was barred from examinations. Following the police investigation, Kumar underwent counselling at Government Rajaji Hospital and was diagnosed with stress-related issues.

AIIMS मदुरै में एक दिव्यांग एमबीबीएस छात्र द्वारा लगाए गए भेदभाव के आरोपों की पुलिस ने जांच पूरी कर ली है। जांच में उसके दावों का समर्थन करने वाले कोई सबूत नहीं मिले। छात्र अरविंद कुमार ने एक वीडियो पोस्ट कर अपनी दिव्यांगता के कारण भेदभाव का आरोप लगाया था, जिसके बाद संस्थान ने उसके स्वास्थ्य का आकलन किया था। रिपोर्टों के अनुसार, वह कई विषयों में फेल हो गया था और उसे परीक्षाओं से रोक दिया गया था। पुलिस जांच के बाद, कुमार ने गवर्नमेंट राजाजी अस्पताल में काउंसलिंग कराई और उसे तनाव संबंधी समस्याएं पाई गईं।
