Potholes and Dust Plague NH-33 Stretch Again Due to Elevated Corridor Construction

Residents along the Pardih-Baliguma stretch of NH-33 in Jamshedpur are once again complaining about severe dust pollution and potholes, marking the third such complaint in nine months. The ongoing construction of an elevated corridor has transformed the road into a hazardous zone, impacting commuters, families, and local businesses. Jamshedpur (West) MLA Saryu Roy has directed the NHAI to implement regular water sprinkling and proper pothole repairs. NHAI officials have assured that remedial work will commence within two days, attributing the worsening conditions to intense heat and continuous traffic.

जमशेदपुर में NH-33 के परडीह-बालिगुमा स्ट्रेच के किनारे रहने वाले लोग एक बार फिर गंभीर धूल प्रदूषण और गड्ढों से परेशान हैं, जो नौ महीने में ऐसी तीसरी शिकायत है। एलिवेटेड कॉरिडोर के चल रहे निर्माण ने सड़क को खतरनाक क्षेत्र में बदल दिया है, जिससे यात्रियों, परिवारों और स्थानीय व्यवसायों पर असर पड़ रहा है। जमशेदपुर (पश्चिम) के विधायक सरयू राय ने NHAI को नियमित रूप से पानी छिड़कने और गड्ढों की ठीक से मरम्मत कराने का निर्देश दिया है। NHAI के अधिकारियों ने आश्वासन दिया है कि दो दिनों के भीतर सुधारात्मक कार्य शुरू हो जाएगा, और खराब स्थिति का कारण अत्यधिक गर्मी और लगातार यातायात को बताया है।
