इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा अधिनियम (NSA) के तहत पत्रकार सत्यम वर्मा की हिरासत के आधारों में 'आंदोलनजीवी' शब्द के इस्तेमाल पर सवाल उठाए हैं। कोर्ट ने पूछा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी द्वारा 2021 में पहली बार इस्तेमाल किए गए इस शब्द का आधिकारिक दस्तावेज़ में कैसे इस्तेमाल हुआ। वर्मा NSA के तहत अपनी हिरासत को चुनौती दे रहे हैं, जो मुकदमे से पहले लंबी जेल की अनुमति देता है। बेंच ने गौतम बुद्ध नगर जिला मजिस्ट्रेट द्वारा जारी हिरासत आदेश की समीक्षा की। हिरासत के आधिकारिक आधारों में इस शब्द का इस्तेमाल अब जांच के दायरे में है।
