Bombay HC Declines EC Plea To Defer Goa Voter Deletion Case Hearing

The Bombay High Court has refused the Election Commission's request to postpone the hearing of a petition concerning the deletion of six voters from a family in Goa. The EC argued that similar matters are pending before the Supreme Court and the principal bench of the Bombay High Court. However, the court stated that the current petition challenges an appellate order and the rejection of a Form 8 application, not the Special Intensive Revision process itself.
