Kolkata Woman Arrested For Attacking Constables

A 31-year-old woman, Ragesree Gope, has been booked for assaulting two female constables during her arrest in Santoshpur, Kolkata. Gope, previously accused of running an extortion racket by filing false rape complaints, allegedly resisted arrest and attacked constables Sarmin Begum and Popy Roy. The constables received treatment at Baghajatin State General Hospital. Gope faces charges including assault and criminal intimidation.

कोलकाता के संतोषपुर में 31 साल की रजरीश्री गोपे को दो महिला पुलिसकर्मियों पर हमला करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। गोपे पर पहले भी झूठे रेप केस दर्ज कराकर उगाही करने का आरोप था। उसने गिरफ्तारी का विरोध किया और पुलिसकर्मी सरमिन बेगम व पोपी रॉय पर हमला कर दिया। दोनों को अस्पताल में इलाज के लिए ले जाया गया। गोपे पर मारपीट और धमकी देने के आरोप लगे हैं।
