Trichy Corporation's efforts to establish no-vending zones around the Rockfort hillock have proven ineffective, with street vendors returning to prohibited areas despite eviction drives. Declared nearly a year ago, the zones on NSB road and near Teppakulam tank continue to face congestion and accessibility issues. Delays in redeveloping Teppakulam tank and utilizing retrieved public spaces are cited as primary reasons for the persistent problem. Authorities are struggling to find suitable alternative locations for relocated vendors, leading to ongoing challenges, especially with upcoming festivals.

तिरुपति निगम के रॉकफोर्ट पहाड़ी के आसपास नो-वेंडिंग ज़ोन बनाने के प्रयास बेकार साबित हुए हैं। स्ट्रीट वेंडर हटाने के अभियान के बावजूद प्रतिबंधित इलाकों में लौट आए हैं। लगभग एक साल पहले घोषित एन एस बी रोड और टेप्पकुलम टैंक के पास के ज़ोन में अभी भी भीड़ और पहुँच की समस्या बनी हुई है। टेप्पकुलम टैंक के पुनर्निर्माण में देरी और खाली कराई गई सार्वजनिक जगहों का उपयोग न हो पाना इस लगातार समस्या के मुख्य कारण बताए जा रहे हैं। अधिकारी हटाए गए वेंडरों के लिए उपयुक्त वैकल्पिक जगहें खोजने में संघर्ष कर रहे हैं, जिससे आने वाले त्योहारों के दौरान लगातार चुनौतियाँ बनी हुई हैं।
