The arrested individuals, including the alleged kingpin from Solapur, Maharashtra, were transporting the cannabis from Kandhamal district to Solapur in two vehicles. Preliminary investigations suggest they are part of an organized network operating between Odisha and Maharashtra, potentially active for several years. Police are conducting a detailed probe to identify other network members and trace financial transactions as part of efforts against narcotics syndicates.
