Karnataka Launches Adventure Sports Initiative 'Active Karnataka'

Karnataka Tourism Department is set to launch 'Active Karnataka – Run, Ride, Surf and Explore' on World Tourism Day, September 27. This initiative aims to connect sporting events with tourism destinations across the state, including Bengaluru, Mysuru, and coastal Karnataka. The goal is to create new visitor experiences, boost the local economy, and generate employment. Future phases will include a statewide Sports & Adventure Tourism Calendar featuring activities like surfing and kayaking.
