Chandigarh's municipal corporation has generated ₹1.7 crore in revenue from its unified "One Pass" parking system between its launch in late January 2026 and September 2026. During this eight-month period, 16,022 monthly passes for four-wheelers and 8,467 for two-wheelers were issued. Four-wheeler passes contributed ₹1.4 crore to the earnings, while two-wheeler passes brought in ₹26.9 lakh. Commuters predominantly chose monthly passes over longer-term options, indicating a preference for flexibility. The digital system has streamlined applications and created an organized parking database for the civic body.
