Ajay Devgn Calls FDA Notice Over Vimal Ad 'Farce'

Actor Ajay Devgn has described the Maharashtra FDA's show-cause notice regarding his Vimal Elaichi advertisement as a "mere farce and an empty formality." He argues the FDA prejudged his case by equating his endorsement of Vimal Elaichi with Vimal Pan Masala before considering his explanation. Devgn filed a petition with the Bombay High Court, calling the notice arbitrary and a violation of natural justice.

अभिनेता अजय देवगन ने महाराष्ट्र FDA द्वारा विमल इलायची के विज्ञापन के संबंध में जारी कारण बताओ नोटिस को 'सिर्फ एक ढकोसला और खोखली औपचारिकता' बताया है। उनका तर्क है कि FDA ने उनके स्पष्टीकरण पर विचार करने से पहले ही विमल इलायची के उनके समर्थन को विमल पान मसाला के साथ जोड़कर उनके मामले में पूर्व-निर्णय लिया। देवगन ने बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट में एक याचिका दायर कर इस नोटिस को मनमाना और प्राकृतिक न्याय का उल्लंघन बताया है।
