90 More Ticket Machines For Festive Rush

The Danapur division of East Central Railway is installing 90 additional automatic ticket vending machines ahead of the festive season to ease passenger travel. These machines will allow passengers to purchase unreserved tickets and platform tickets, reducing queues at booking counters. Currently, 54 ATVMs are operational, handling about 12% of unreserved tickets. The division is also enhancing drinking water safety by installing chlorination plants and cleaning water tanks at various stations to ensure passenger well-being during the busy travel period.
