Alphabet Discloses $548 Million Stake in Chipmaker Qualcomm

Alphabet revealed on Friday that it held a significant stake in chipmaker Qualcomm, valued at approximately $547.9 million as of September. This holding consists of nearly 3 million shares. The Google parent company also expanded its investment in Elon Musk's SpaceX, increasing its position to about 555 million shares. Qualcomm recently faced investor concerns after missing quarterly smartphone chip sales expectations due to weak demand, despite a positive forecast for its data-center segment.
