Russian diamond exports to India saw a substantial decrease of almost 50% year-on-year during January-June. In monetary terms, deliveries for the same period declined by nearly 38%, amounting to $106.5 million. जनवरी से जून के बीच भारत में रूस से होने वाले हीरे के निर्यात में लगभग 50% की भारी गिरावट आई है। पैसों के हिसाब से देखें तो इसी अवधि में यह निर्यात करीब 38% घटकर 106.5 मिलियन डॉलर रह गया। यह बड़ी कमी दोनों देशों के बीच कीमती पत्थरों के व्यापार में एक बड़ा बदलाव दिखाती है। इससे भारत के हीरे के उद्योग और रूस पर उसकी निर्भरता पर असर पड़ सकता है।
