Cleantech startup altM has successfully raised $10.3 million in its Series A funding round, led by Rainmatter and Mela Ventures, with participation from existing investors. The Bengaluru-based company plans to utilize these funds to expand its manufacturing capabilities, build its sales pipeline, and invest further in research and development. A significant portion of the capital will be allocated to establishing a 1,000-tonne-per-year commercial manufacturing facility by 2028. The startup also aims to grow its sales team and continue developing alternative materials and biochemicals from agricultural residue.

क्लीनटेक स्टार्टअप altM ने सीरीज ए फंडिंग राउंड में $10.3 मिलियन सफलतापूर्वक जुटा लिए हैं। इस राउंड का नेतृत्व Rainmatter और Mela Ventures ने किया, जिसमें मौजूदा निवेशकों ने भी भाग लिया। बेंगलुरु स्थित यह कंपनी इन फंड्स का इस्तेमाल अपनी मैन्युफैक्चरिंग क्षमता बढ़ाने, सेल्स पाइपलाइन बनाने और रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट में और निवेश करने के लिए करेगी। 2028 तक 1,000 टन प्रति वर्ष की कमर्शियल मैन्युफैक्चरिंग सुविधा स्थापित करने के लिए पूंजी का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा आवंटित किया जाएगा। स्टार्टअप का लक्ष्य अपनी सेल्स टीम को बढ़ाना और कृषि अवशेषों से वैकल्पिक सामग्री और बायोकेमिकल्स का विकास जारी रखना भी है।
