Disney Announces Major Job Cuts in HR, Tech

Walt Disney Company is cutting nearly 300 jobs as part of a restructuring under CEO Josh D'Amaro. The majority of these layoffs are impacting positions within the human resources and technology departments. This latest round of job cuts is smaller than the 1,000 positions eliminated in April. The company aims to reduce costs across its operations to invest more in growth initiatives. Disney has a global workforce exceeding 231,000 employees.
