CJP Chief Abhijit Dipke Granted Bail by Delhi Court on Conditions

Abhijit Dipke, chief of the CJP, has been granted conditional bail by a Delhi magistrate court. The court has ordered him to furnish a peace bond, after which he will be released. Dipke will not be sent to judicial custody. He was detained ahead of a proposed 'Lehra Do Tiranga' march in Delhi and later arrested. Police took action under Section 163 of the BNSS for violating prohibitory orders.

CJP के चीफ अभिजीत दीपके को दिल्ली की एक मजिस्ट्रेट कोर्ट ने सशर्त ज़मानत दे दी है। कोर्ट ने उन्हें एक शांति बॉन्ड भरने का आदेश दिया है, जिसके बाद उन्हें रिहा कर दिया जाएगा। दीपके को न्यायिक हिरासत में नहीं भेजा जाएगा। उन्हें दिल्ली में प्रस्तावित 'लहरा दो तिरंगा' मार्च से पहले हिरासत में लिया गया था और बाद में गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। पुलिस ने निषेधाज्ञा का उल्लंघन करने के लिए BNSS की धारा 163 के तहत कार्रवाई की थी।
