Uttar Pradesh has approved the Model Building Regulations, 2026, for industrial development authorities, aiming to reshape real estate in Noida, Greater Noida, and the Yamuna Expressway region. These new rules are expected to expedite approvals and encourage taller developments by removing Floor Area Ratio ceilings on wider roads. This could increase housing supply and developer viability. Building heights will still be subject to fire safety and aviation clearances, and authorities will decide on application to already developed sectors.

उत्तर प्रदेश ने औद्योगिक विकास प्राधिकरणों के लिए मॉडल बिल्डिंग रेगुलेशंस, 2026 को मंज़ूरी दे दी है, जिसका लक्ष्य नोएडा, ग्रेटर नोएडा और यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे क्षेत्र में रियल एस्टेट को नया रूप देना है। इन नए नियमों से मंज़ूरी मिलने में तेज़ी आने और फ्लोर एरिया रेशियो (FAR) की सीमाएं चौड़ी सड़कों पर हटाए जाने से ऊंची इमारतों को बढ़ावा मिलने की उम्मीद है। इससे आवास की आपूर्ति और डेवलपर्स की व्यवहार्यता बढ़ सकती है। इमारतों की ऊंचाई अभी भी अग्नि सुरक्षा और विमानन क्लीयरेंस के अधीन होगी, और प्राधिकरण पहले से विकसित क्षेत्रों में आवेदन पर निर्णय लेंगे।
