A collector named Warren Hill stumbled upon a rare acetate of The Velvet Underground's secret tape session at a New York flea market in 2002. He purchased it for just 75 cents, unaware of its immense historical and monetary value. This recording contained early versions of songs that would later feature on the band's influential 1967 debut album. Four years after his lucky find, Hill sold the acetate for a staggering $25,200.
