Despite record wholesale dispatches, passenger vehicle inventory remains around 43-45 days, according to the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations. Dealers are optimistic that strong retail activity in the coming weeks will help reduce current stock levels. However, the combination of high stock and increased borrowing expenses poses a potential challenge to sustained sales momentum.
