Court Cancels Bail for Shiv Sena Corporator Ramesh

The Bombay High Court has revoked the bail granted to Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre and his associates in connection with an alleged assault on hospital staff. They are ordered to surrender by Sunday evening. The incident, which involved attacks on doctors and nurses due to alleged patient treatment delays, had prompted the Indian Medical Association to call for a statewide strike.

बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने शिवसेना के कॉर्पोरेटर रमेश म्हात्रे और उनके साथियों की ज़मानत रद्द कर दी है। उन पर अस्पताल के कर्मचारियों से मारपीट का आरोप है। कोर्ट ने आदेश दिया है कि वे रविवार शाम तक सरेंडर कर दें। यह घटना मरीज़ों के इलाज में देरी को लेकर डॉक्टरों और नर्सों पर हमले से जुड़ी थी। इस मामले में इंडियन मेडिकल एसोसिएशन ने पूरे राज्य में हड़ताल का आह्वान किया था।
