Bihar Minister: Women's Dignity Paramount in Art

Bihar's Art and Culture Minister Pramod Kumar has stated that women's dignity must not be compromised in the name of art. He emphasized that obscene, vulgar, or derogatory content has no place in Bihar's cultural landscape. The minister's remarks followed a complaint regarding a song with objectionable references to women. He assured that necessary action would be taken according to the law to preserve Bihar's rich folk traditions while upholding social dignity and respect for women.

बिहार के कला और संस्कृति मंत्री प्रमोद कुमार ने कहा है कि कला के नाम पर महिलाओं के सम्मान से समझौता नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि बिहार के सांस्कृतिक परिदृश्य में अश्लील, भद्दी या अपमानजनक सामग्री के लिए कोई जगह नहीं है। मंत्री की यह टिप्पणी महिलाओं के बारे में आपत्तिजनक संदर्भ वाले एक गाने की शिकायत के बाद आई है। उन्होंने आश्वासन दिया कि बिहार की समृद्ध लोक परंपराओं को बनाए रखने और महिलाओं के सामाजिक सम्मान और गरिमा को बनाए रखने के लिए कानून के अनुसार आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
