4 States Ask SC To Quash FIRs

Four states, including Bihar, West Bengal, Maharashtra, and Assam, have urged the Supreme Court to quash 116 FIRs. These FIRs were registered following student protests in July concerning the NEET exam paper leak. The states cited the Central Government's commitment to the CJP as a reason for their plea.

बिहार, पश्चिम बंगाल, महाराष्ट्र और असम समेत चार राज्यों ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट से 116 FIRs रद्द करने की गुहार लगाई है। ये FIRs NEET परीक्षा पेपर लीक को लेकर जुलाई में हुए छात्र विरोध प्रदर्शनों के बाद दर्ज की गई थीं। राज्यों ने अपनी याचिका में CJP के प्रति केंद्र सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता का हवाला दिया है।
