Lucknow University has extended the deadline for obtaining the Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN). This decision comes as many affiliated colleges continue their admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2026-27 academic session. The academic session in several affiliated colleges has already been delayed by nearly two months. LURN is a mandatory requirement for students seeking admission to colleges affiliated with Lucknow University. This extension aims to accommodate students who gain admission to affiliated colleges after failing to secure spots in the university itself.

लखनऊ यूनिवर्सिटी ने लखनऊ यूनिवर्सिटी रजिस्ट्रेशन नंबर (LURN) प्राप्त करने की अंतिम तिथि बढ़ा दी है। यह फैसला इसलिए लिया गया है क्योंकि कई संबद्ध कॉलेज 2026-27 शैक्षणिक सत्र के लिए स्नातक और स्नातकोत्तर कार्यक्रमों में प्रवेश जारी रखे हुए हैं। कई संबद्ध कॉलेजों में शैक्षणिक सत्र पहले ही लगभग दो महीने की देरी से शुरू हो चुका है। लखनऊ यूनिवर्सिटी से संबद्ध कॉलेजों में प्रवेश लेने वाले छात्रों के लिए LURN एक अनिवार्य आवश्यकता है। इस विस्तार का उद्देश्य उन छात्रों को समायोजित करना है जिन्हें यूनिवर्सिटी में सीटें नहीं मिलने के बाद संबद्ध कॉलेजों में प्रवेश मिलता है।
