Times of India · business
A Louisiana appeals court has affirmed the authority of a trust protector to alter future beneficiaries and require trustee approval before early termination of a trust. The case stemmed from a dispute over a 2004 trust created by Robert Andrew Wolf Jr. for his stepson, Gerald Wise. Wolf's son, Robert Wolf III, was appointed trust protector. Following the deaths of Robert and his wife, Clara, a disagreement arose regarding Drew's influence over the trust and the family property company.
