Three Satya Niketan Buildings Declared Unsafe After MCD Survey

Following a building collapse that killed seven people, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has informed the Delhi High Court that three buildings in Satya Niketan have been declared dangerous. Vacation notices have been issued for these properties. An inspection of approximately 300 properties in the area also identified 10 buildings needing major repairs and 14 requiring minor repairs. The survey, conducted across all 12 MCD zones, identified 2,453 PG buildings city-wide, with most found visibly safe but some requiring attention.

सात लोगों की मौत के बाद एक इमारत गिरने की घटना के चलते, दिल्ली नगर निगम (MCD) ने दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट को सूचित किया है कि सतया निकेतन की तीन इमारतों को खतरनाक घोषित कर दिया गया है। इन संपत्तियों के लिए खाली करने के नोटिस जारी कर दिए गए हैं। इलाके में लगभग 300 संपत्तियों के निरीक्षण में 10 इमारतों में बड़े मरम्मत की ज़रूरत और 14 इमारतों में मामूली मरम्मत की ज़रूरत पाई गई। सभी 12 MCD ज़ोन में किए गए सर्वे में शहर भर में 2,453 PG इमारतें पहचानी गईं, जिनमें से ज़्यादातर दिखने में सुरक्षित थीं लेकिन कुछ को ध्यान देने की ज़रूरत थी।
