Israel announced the elimination of Muhammad Abu Alwan, identified as Hamas' finance department head, in a strike in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz confirmed the operation, praising the IDF and Shin Bet for targeting Hamas' financial network. They vowed to continue hunting Hamas operatives and destroying its infrastructure, stating operations will persist until the group no longer exists in Gaza.
