Tamil Nadu to Launch Premium Registration Hubs With Enhanced Services

Tamil Nadu's registration department plans to open model registration hubs offering premium services like air-conditioned premises, appointment-based queues, and dedicated lounges. These hubs aim to improve citizen experience by addressing issues of long queues and overcrowding at traditional sub-registrar offices. The department has invited tenders for five pilot hubs in Chennai, Chengalpet, and Coimbatore, with a plan to expand to 25 across the state. While these enhanced facilities will incur additional charges beyond standard registration fees, government-appointed sub-registrars will retain exclusive authority over registration decisions.

तमिलनाडु का रजिस्ट्रेशन विभाग एयर-कंडीशन्ड परिसर, अपॉइंटमेंट-आधारित कतारों और डेडीकेटेड लाउंज जैसी प्रीमियम सेवाएं देने वाले मॉडल रजिस्ट्रेशन हब खोलने की योजना बना रहा है। इन हब का मकसद पारंपरिक सब-रजिस्ट्रार ऑफिसों में लंबी कतारों और भीड़भाड़ की समस्याओं को दूर करके नागरिकों के अनुभव को बेहतर बनाना है। विभाग ने चेन्नई, चेंगलपेट और कोयंबटूर में पांच पायलट हब के लिए टेंडर मंगवाए हैं, और राज्य भर में 25 हब तक विस्तार करने की योजना है। हालांकि इन उन्नत सुविधाओं के लिए मानक रजिस्ट्रेशन शुल्क से अतिरिक्त शुल्क लगेगा, लेकिन सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त सब-रजिस्ट्रार रजिस्ट्रेशन निर्णयों पर विशेष अधिकार बनाए रखेंगे।
