महाराष्ट्र के उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार ड्राइवरों के लिए मराठी भाषा का ज्ञान क्यों ज़रूरी कर रही है। उन्होंने साफ़ किया कि इसका मकसद ड्राइवरों को भाषा का विशेषज्ञ बनाना नहीं है, बल्कि उनके काम के लिए ज़रूरी बुनियादी बातचीत हो सके। इस पहल से ड्राइवरों और स्थानीय लोगों के बीच संवाद आसान होगा। सरकार का लक्ष्य पूरे राज्य में रोज़मर्रा के कामों में बेहतर तालमेल और कुशलता लाना है।
