Major rivers in north Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, and Parvathipuram Manyam districts are experiencing heavy inflows following Cyclone Arnab. Floodwaters have entered Ichchapuram town and surrounding areas, though the situation is reportedly under control. Significant rainfall was recorded on October 28, with some districts receiving over three-quarters of their monthly average in a single day. The cyclone has claimed five lives in Andhra Pradesh, prompting the announcement of a relief package by Chief Minister Naidu.
