Husband Kills Wife at Sister-in-Law's Wedding

In Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a domestic dispute turned deadly during a sister-in-law's wedding. A husband allegedly slit his wife's throat with a razor on the upper floor of their home after an argument. The critically injured woman, identified as 30-year-old Gazala, was rushed to the hospital but declared dead. The accused husband then reportedly used the same razor to attempt suicide, sustaining severe injuries and being referred to the district hospital.
