Bengaluru experienced severe traffic gridlock on Saturday due to a combination of protests, a sporting event, and festivals. Key roads like J.C. Road, M.G. Road, and Hosur Road were choked, with outstation buses contributing to the congestion. The India-West Indies match at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, affected by rain and parking restrictions, further slowed traffic in the Central Business District. Protests near Town Hall and a VIP visit also added to the city-wide standstill, causing significant delays for commuters and travellers.
