कांग्रेस के पूर्व अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी ने बीजेपी पर कनॉट प्लेस की दुकानें जबरन बंद कराने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि बीजेपी की इस कार्रवाई से स्थानीय दुकानदारों को नुकसान हो रहा है। गांधी ने यह बात कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष मल्लिकार्जुन खरगे के आवास से रामलीला मैदान तक मार्च के लिए जाते समय कही। उन्होंने दावा किया कि विपक्ष के 'INDIA' गठबंधन ने स्थानीय कारोबारियों को फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए लोगों को कनॉट प्लेस में खरीदारी के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया था। बीजेपी ने अभी तक इन आरोपों पर कोई प्रतिक्रिया नहीं दी है।
