Swachh Andhra Corporation Chairman Kommareddy Pattabhiram inspected ongoing projects, including a Waste-to-Energy plant costing ₹330 crore and an ISWM plant costing ₹8 crore. Approximately 10 lakh metric tonnes of garbage accumulated over decades will be remediated through bio-mining. The new plants aim to permanently resolve dumping issues and generate electricity from waste, transforming Kurnool into a cleaner, eco-friendly city.
