Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Promises Drought Relief After Survey Completion

Rajasthan's Agriculture Minister Kirori Lal Meena announced that drought relief efforts will commence after a comprehensive survey of affected areas is completed. He stated that eight to ten districts have experienced deficient rainfall, and officials are gathering information. This comes in response to former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's demand for immediate action, who highlighted shortages of water and fodder in western Rajasthan. Meena assured that relief would reach farmers and livestock owners promptly once the survey report is finalized, urging against the spread of confusion.

राजस्थान के कृषि मंत्री किरोड़ी लाल मीणा ने घोषणा की कि प्रभावित क्षेत्रों का व्यापक सर्वेक्षण पूरा होने के बाद सूखा राहत प्रयास शुरू किए जाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि आठ से दस जिलों में अपर्याप्त वर्षा हुई है, और अधिकारी जानकारी एकत्र कर रहे हैं। यह पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत की तत्काल कार्रवाई की मांग के जवाब में आया है, जिन्होंने पश्चिमी राजस्थान में पानी और चारे की कमी पर प्रकाश डाला था। मीणा ने आश्वासन दिया कि सर्वेक्षण रिपोर्ट अंतिम रूप दिए जाने के बाद राहत किसानों और पशुपालकों तक तुरंत पहुंच जाएगी, और भ्रम फैलाने के खिलाफ आग्रह किया।
