TV9 Hindi · science

India is preparing to bolster its indigenous navigation system, NavIC, with the upcoming launch of the NVS-03 satellite by ISRO. This satellite, weighing approximately 2,250 kilograms, will be sent into orbit using the GSLV-F18 rocket from Sriharikota. The NVS-03 aims to enhance India's location and navigation services, similar to the functionality of America's GPS. Its deployment is crucial for improving services in road transport, maritime operations, and disaster management, ultimately reducing India's reliance on foreign navigation technologies.
