Times of India · education

Indian classrooms are facing challenges as students accustomed to instant gratification struggle with sustained attention and boredom. A nationwide survey by the National Council of CBSE Schools found that nearly 70% of teachers have observed a significant drop in student focus. The survey also revealed that 74% of students spend over two hours daily on screens for non-academic purposes, contributing to increased anxiety and reduced face-to-face interaction. Teachers are adapting by employing more engaging methods to maintain student interest throughout lessons.
