These talks are part of Jio's global expansion strategy, aiming to sell its proprietary unlicensed band radio (UBR) technology to foreign operators. The UBR technology enables high-speed internet delivery to buildings without requiring individual cable connections. While Jio targets numerous global partners, no timeline for agreements has been set. Previous discussions with South Africa's MTN Group did not materialize due to valuation disagreements.
