The Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo continues to spread rapidly, with over 3,000 deaths recorded out of more than 6,100 confirmed cases. This outbreak is the fastest-growing in Ebola's history, outpacing containment efforts. The Ministry of Health reported 6,186 confirmed cases and 3,007 fatalities since the outbreak was declared a global health emergency in mid-May.
