The event brought together academics, athletes, and experts to discuss the role of higher education in strengthening India's sporting ecosystem and preparations for hosting the 2036 Olympic Games. Discussions covered sports education, scientific training, talent identification, and infrastructure development. Padma Shri Vasudevan Baskaran emphasized that India's vision should extend beyond hosting to achieving medal-winning excellence, advocating for a scientifically informed approach to sports.
