Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) and Dubai's Drydocks World have formed a 50:50 joint venture to expand the International Ship Repair Facility in Kochi. This partnership aims to transform Kochi into a major ship-repair hub for India and the Indian Ocean region. The facility will increase its workstations from six to 16, capable of repairing over 80 ships annually, attracting international vessels and boosting India's shipbuilding ecosystem.

कोचीन शिपयार्ड लिमिटेड (CSL) और दुबई की ड्राईडॉक्स वर्ल्ड ने कोच्चि में इंटरनेशनल शिप रिपेयर फैसिलिटी को बढ़ाने के लिए 50:50 की साझेदारी की है। इस साझेदारी से कोच्चि भारत और हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र का एक बड़ा शिप-रिपेयर हब बनेगा। यहाँ वर्कस्टेशन छह से बढ़कर 16 हो जाएंगे, जिससे सालाना 80 से ज़्यादा जहाजों की मरम्मत हो सकेगी। इससे विदेशी जहाज भी आकर्षित होंगे और भारत का शिपबिल्डिंग क्षेत्र मजबूत होगा।
