Bombay HC Junks Order Withdrawing Trustees List, Cites Misuse of Ex-CJ's Name

The Bombay High Court has quashed an order that withdrew a list of selected trustees for a Nashik religious trust. The court found that a special officer, Anju Shende, misused the name of the former Chief Justice for the March 14 communication. Justices Girish Kulkarni and Neela Gokhale stated they refused to believe the directions were from the Chief Justice himself. The verdict came on a petition by five candidates who were among the recommended trustees.

बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट ने नासिक की एक धार्मिक ट्रस्ट के चयनित ट्रस्टियों की सूची वापस लेने के आदेश को रद्द कर दिया है। अदालत ने पाया कि विशेष अधिकारी, अंजू शेंडे ने 14 मार्च के संचार के लिए पूर्व मुख्य न्यायाधीश के नाम का दुरुपयोग किया था। जस्टिस गिरीश कुलकर्णी और नीलम गोखले ने कहा कि उन्हें विश्वास नहीं है कि ये निर्देश मुख्य न्यायाधीश के थे। यह फैसला अनुशंसित ट्रस्टियों में से पांच उम्मीदवारों द्वारा दायर याचिका पर आया।
