Madhurawada, a rapidly growing area in Visakhapatnam, will soon receive 24x7 Godavari water supply. The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) is undertaking a ₹725.18-crore project to establish a continuous drinking water system. Civil works are expected to commence in October, with an 18-month execution window. This initiative aims to provide reliable water access to residents, apartment complexes, and IT companies, easing the current intermittent supply issues. The project is funded through a Centre's Urban Challenge Fund grant, GVMC contribution, and a term loan.

विशाखापत्तनम का तेजी से बढ़ता इलाका मधुरवाड़ा को जल्द ही 24x7 गोदावरी पानी की सप्लाई मिलेगी। ग्रेटर विशाखापत्तनम म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन (GVMC) एक लगातार पीने के पानी की व्यवस्था बनाने के लिए ₹725.18 करोड़ की परियोजना पर काम कर रहा है। सिविल काम अक्टूबर में शुरू होने की उम्मीद है, और इसे पूरा करने के लिए 18 महीने का समय लगेगा। इस पहल का मकसद निवासियों, अपार्टमेंट कॉम्प्लेक्सों और IT कंपनियों को भरोसेमंद पानी पहुंचाना है, जिससे मौजूदा रुक-रुक कर होने वाली सप्लाई की समस्या हल हो जाएगी। इस परियोजना के लिए पैसा केंद्र के अर्बन चैलेंज फंड से ग्रांट, GVMC के योगदान और एक टर्म लोन से आ रहा है।
