The post-mortem report of Surendra Koli, the main accused in the Nithari killings, has confirmed suicide as the cause of death. Koli was found hanging in a tea shop in Haridwar. While initially suspected to be suicide, his family had expressed doubts, leading to the awaited report. The report states death was due to asphyxia from ante-mortem hanging.
