Zoho to Offer Catalyst Serverless Platform Free to Students

Times of India · technology

Zoho co-founder Sridhar Vembu announced that the company will provide its Catalyst serverless platform free of charge to students. This initiative aims to empower students to build and deploy applications without incurring infrastructure costs. Zoho developed its own cloud infrastructure, encompassing databases, identity, messaging, search, storage, and compute, to run its applications internally. This robust infrastructure now forms the foundation for Catalyst, which Zoho is heavily investing in to support developers. The platform allows users to create and deploy applications without managing the underlying infrastructure themselves.
